Majestic Classic Circuit: Lima, Paracas, Nazca, Arequipa, Puno and Cusco 12 Days

In this circuit you will be able to know the most visited destinations of our majestic Peru, like the city of the Kings, where we will visit the Intihuatana Park, we will pass by the Huaca Pucllana, the El Olivar park, the main square, appreciating the Plaza de Armas from the outside, with the Municipal Palace, Government Palace and the Cathedral of Lima, at the end of the tour you will enter the convent of Santo Domingo.

To continue the tour we will travel to the south to make the excursion to the Ballestas Islands being able to observe the penguins and the figure of the candelabrum on a dune in front of the sea, then we will continue towards the city of Nazca to then fly over the majestic lines of Nazca, The circuit continues towards the beautiful white city of Arequipa to then go to the city of Puno and to sail the Titicaca Lake, to continue advancing in our circuit we will visit the imperial city of Cusco.

In the tour of the imperial city of Cusco we will enter the Cathedral and the temple of Qoricancha, besides visiting the 4 ruins near the city. The next day we will continue our visit to the Pisac Ruins, the traditional Pisac Market, we will appreciate the majestic landscape of the Sacred Valley and we will finish the day with a visit to Ollantaytambo. We cannot finish the circuit without visiting our wonderful citadel of Machupicchu and appreciating its majesty.

Day 1: LIMA

Flight to Lima.

Welcome, reception and transfer to the select hotel.

We will stop at Parque Intihutana and enjoy a nice view of the Pacific Ocean, as we drive down the Miraflores Malecon, a road along the cliffs overlooking the ocean. We will begin our tour visiting the modern suburbs of San Isidro and Miraflores. We will ago by the Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca pyramid shape temple that has survived the expansion of modern civilization. We will see the Olive Grove Park and the Financial Center.

Then We will visit downtown Lima`s historical center, designated by Unesco as Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 1991. In this journey, we will enjoy what once was the center of the 16th century Spanish colony. We will see the Plaza Mayor, the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop`s Palace, the City Hall and the Desamparados Train Station. We will also see Plaza San Martin, a large park surrounded by old colonial buildings still displaying beautiful carved wood balconies and other landmarks.

We shall visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, where the relics of the three Peruvian saints Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martin de Porres and San Juan Macias are conserved. At the end of the tour, you will have a choice to either shop at the Indian Market, Larcomar Mall or return to your hotel.

Day 2: LIMA RELAX

Breakfast the hotel. Day Free to personal activities Overnight at Lima.

Day 3: FULL DAY PARACAS & ICA

03:00 am. Pick up from the hotel to transfer you to the bus station.

03:45 Am. Departure by bus Cruz del Sur Semi-bed service to the Bay of Paracas.

07.45 Arrival to Paracas, reception and immediate transfer to the pier of La Marina Turística.

08.00 Am. Board the skimmer to visit the Ballestas Islands, on the way they will see they will make a brief stop to observe the candelabra, enigmatic figure in the dunes of the dune on the sea, then continue the journey to the islands, where they can observe the ecosystem of the Ballestas Islands or Guaneras Islands, where sea lions inhabit, different species from guano birds, to penguins, return to Paracas.

Transfer to the bus station in Paracas to take a Bus to Nazca town

11.00 am. Departure to Nazca 16.00 Pm. Reception in Nazca and transfer to the hotel

Afternoon free. Overnight at Nazca

Day 4: NAZCA LINES OVERFLIGHT - AREQUIPA

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the appropriate time, transfer to the aerodrome where they will board the high-wing plane and fly over the enigmatic Nazca Lines for 35 minutes. 14:30 Transfer to the bus station to leave to Arequipa. 23:30 Arrival to Arequipa.

Arrival to Arequipa, reception and transfer the select hotel. Overnight at Arequipa.

Day 5: AREQUIPA RELAX

Breakfast at the hotel. Day free to personal activities Overnight at Arequipa.

Day 6: AREQUIPA - PUNO

At convenient hour transfer to the bus station for travel to Puno 13.30 Departure by Tourist bus to Puno, the duration of the trip is about 6 hours. 19:30 Arrival in Puno.

Reception at the bus station and transfer to the hotel Overnight at Puno.

Day 7: PUNO / TITICACA / UROS & TAQUILE ISLANDS

Am. Breakfast at the hotel.

07:00 After breakfast visit to the Uros Floating Island, where you can appreciate their customs and in particular the construction of the islands and their houses built with totora that is a typical aquatic plant of the island, later the island of Taquile to appreciate their customs, lunch included in the island; return to Puno and transfer to the hotel.

Overnight at Puno.

Day 8: PUNO - CUSCO

Am. Breakfast at the hotel.

06:00 Transfer to the bus station for the connection to the Imperial city of Cusco by Tourist bus in excursion service with 4 stops in route to visit the Lithic Museum of the ruins of Pucará, La Raya, Raqchi and the Church in Andahuaylillas; additionally an additional stop will be made in Sicuani for lunch. Arrival in Cusco and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Cusco.

Day 9: CITY TOUR CUSCO + 4 NEARBY RUINS

Breakfast at the hotel.

Rest of the morning free for air conditioning.

14:00 For the Cusco City Tour, visiting the tourist attractions such as the Main Square, Koricancha, then visit the four nearby ruins of the city located 15 minutes: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay, return to the Hotel. Overnight at Cusco.

Day 10: SACRED VALLEY OF INCAS TOUR

am. Breakfast at the hotel.

Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where you will visit the pampas of Calca, Lamay, the Indian Market of Pisaq, and lunch included in one of the tourist restaurants of Urubamba.

In the afternoon we will visit the Fortress of Ollantaytambo, at the end of the visit they separate from the group to walk or take a motorcycle taxi to the Ollantaytambo train station located about 500 meters. Approx. 19.00 Pm. They will board the train to Aguas Calientes 20.43 Pm. Arrival and transfer walking to the chosen hotel.

Overnight at Aguas Calientes.

Day 11: AGUAS CALIENTES / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO

am. Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, transfer walking to the bus station, where you will board a mini-bus to ascend to the esplanade of Machu Picchu; income and guided tour of the main buildings. In the afternoon, transfer back to Aguas Calientes.

In the afternoon, return to Cusco. Arrival reception and transfer to the Hotel. 16:22 approximately train to return to Ollantaytambo.

Transfer from Ollantaytambo to Cusco. Overnight at Cusco.

Day 12: CUSCO – LIMA

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer hotel – airport. Flight Cusco - Lima. Arrival to Lima. Waiting at the airport for international flight.
