National launch of Inti Raymi in Lima will be as spectacular as in Cusco.
The performance will take place on Thursday 27th in the Plaza Mayor and on Friday 28th in the Teatro Segur.
The national launch of the magnificent Inti Raymi or Festival of the Sun, which will be held for the first time in the Plaza Mayor of Lima, will be as spectacular as in Cusco, said Erick Callañaupa Pumayali, president of the board of directors of the Municipal Company of Festivities of Cusco (Emufec).
“It will be a wonderful show,” said the head of Emufec, who announced that for those who cannot attend the Plaza Mayor on February 27, there will be a second presentation of the launch of the Inti Raymi at the Segura Theater. “There we have a space with approximately 1,000 seats for all the people who want to see the staging of the Inti Raymi,” he stressed.
